I was looking around the web to buy some more X-Files stuff (I found an empty square inch in my living room that needed X-files related filling) and I came across this website, The X Files Shop.
It doesn’t have that many different products yet, but you can easily compare prices to save money and time. I think I’ll order Trust the man, the fact that I don’t have that DVD yet could be an X-File 
I need to get back in gear if I want to finish watching all 9 seasons before the new X files movie is released. Once again, only 2 episodes; The list and 2shy.
Well actually only 1.5. I saw the first half of The list the day before yesterday.
Due to complete lack of inspiration, a few quotes:
Mulder: “Okay, but imagine if it were true, Scully. Imagine if you could come back and take out five people who had caused you to suffer. Who would they be?”
Scully: “I only get five?”
Mulder: “I remembered your birthday this year, didn’t I Scully?”
Scully: “Woman gets lonely. Sometimes she can’t wait around for her man to be reincarnated.”
Mulder: “Okay, it’s not yet the finely detailed insanity that you’ve come to expect from me, it’s just a theory. But what if he’s not doing this out of a psychotic impulse, but rather out of some physical hunger? Maybe he needs to replenish this chemical deficiency in order to survive.”
Scully: “From a dry skin sample you’re concluding what? That he’s some kind of a fat-sucking vampire?”
I’m back on track with the X files movie marathon…well, sort of anyway.
Last night I watched 3 more episodes (Darkness falls, Tooms and Born again). I was actually aiming for 5 which would have concluded the first X files season.
What I like about watching a movie/series again is that you tend to notice a lot more.
Like, all through Darkness falls I kept thinking; you’re in the middle of the woods, loads of cut down trees all around you, if you need light just build a fire. To restore my belief in the X files series and my two favourite agents I’ll just assume they tried that but the wood wouldn’t burn because of the insect residue covering it…or is that stretching things?
As for Tooms, that’s one of my favourite episodes. Lots of shippiness going on, and I really like the actor who played Tooms, the way he can look is just downright creepy.
The Skinman also makes his first appearance in Tooms, while CSM gets to say “his first words”.
At the moment I’m still wondering where I can get a safety lock for the toilet seat…If anyone asks why I bought (don’t have children) I’ll just say it’s to prevent my ferrets from claiming the toilet as their private indoor swimming pool. A lot more believable than liver eating mutants right…
